What This Page Is For

Most supplier pages tell you what a factory can do. This one is written to answer the questions a North American importer actually has to answer to their own compliance team and their own customs broker.

Those questions are narrow and specific: who made it, what is it made of, what certifications does it carry, what duty applies, and can the supplier produce evidence that names the right legal entity. We would rather answer them here, including where the answer is no, than have them surface after an order.

What We Make and What We Coordinate

We operate our own 30,000 m2 production base in Foshan, Guangdong. Three lines are made there: solid wood bathroom vanities in frame-and-panel construction, shower enclosures, and solid surface bathware including bathtubs, integrated basin tops and basins.

Coordinated categories, which are faucets, toilets, floor drains, bathroom niches and shower systems, come from a small group of Foshan partner factories we have worked with over time. That is normal industrial specialization, and we state it rather than implying everything comes from one floor.

The practical consequence for an importer is responsibility. For our own lines we control the material, the process and the schedule, and we answer for the result directly. For coordinated items we control the selection, the specification and the order, and we tell you which factory made it if you ask.

North American Compliance, Stated Plainly

This is where we would rather lose an order than misrepresent a document.

Plumbing fixtures. United States and Canadian plumbing codes generally require third-party listing for fixtures, referencing the CSA B45 and IAPMO Z124 families. We do not currently hold cUPC or equivalent third-party listing for our bathtubs. If your market requires it, we can support a certification route for specific models, which takes time and money and should be planned before an order rather than after.

Composite wood panels. TSCA Title VI governs the panel products inside bathroom furniture. We can provide the panel certificate and the panel mill's third-party certification number for the material used in your production run, and a component list showing which parts are panel and which are solid wood. Ask for it at order stage, when it still relates to the material actually used.

Timber legality. The Lacey Act due-diligence obligation is yours as the importer. We provide species by botanical name, country of harvest and supplier declarations before shipment.

California. Proposition 65 is a labeling and disclosure regime assessed independently of any plumbing listing, and it applies to goods entering California regardless of what else is held.

Duty and Classification

Duty treatment differs sharply by product category, and it is worth establishing before a range is selected rather than after.

Wooden bathroom vanities imported into the United States fall under the wooden cabinets and vanities classification and are subject to antidumping and countervailing duty orders on goods of Chinese origin. Those rates are substantial and they are the reason many importers reconsider the vanity line specifically.

Solid surface bathware is a different classification entirely and is not inside that order. This is why our bathtub, basin and integrated top lines are the ones most North American buyers move on first, and why we suggest starting the conversation there.

We are not customs advisers and we will not tell you a classification is correct. What we can do is describe the product and its construction accurately so that your broker can classify it properly, and provide the material breakdown a classification decision needs.

How an Order Actually Runs

Enquiry to shipment follows the same sequence whether the order is one container or a hotel package.

You send product references, dimensions, quantities, destination and any drawings you hold. We return an itemized component list defining exactly what is included, dimensioned drawings for anything made to size, and a note of what compliance documentation can be provided for that specification.

Samples are confirmed before production for color, finish and construction, and the approved sample is retained as the reference. Through production we can provide dated photographs at agreed stages rather than a single image before shipping.

Packing is specified rather than assumed, with carton dimensions and units per container stated so you can calculate landed cost before committing. Pre-shipment inspection at the factory, before loading, is where problems can still be reworked, and we would rather you inspect there than at destination.

For commercial terms, quantities, lead time and payment arrangements, those are quoted per project rather than published, and we will put them in writing before you commit to anything.

North American Buyer Questions

Do you hold cUPC listing for your bathtubs?

No. We do not currently hold third-party plumbing listing for our bathtubs and we say so rather than sending a general factory document. If your market requires it, we can support a certification route for specific models, planned before an order.

Can you provide TSCA Title VI documentation?

Yes, at order stage. We can provide the panel certificate and the panel mill's third-party certification number for the material used in your run, along with a component list showing which parts are composite panel and which are solid wood.

Are your bathtubs affected by the duties on Chinese vanities?

No. The antidumping and countervailing duty orders apply to wooden cabinets and vanities. Solid surface bathware is a different classification and sits outside that order, which is why many North American buyers start with the bathtub and basin lines.

Do you make everything yourselves?

Where should goods be inspected?

At the factory before loading, which is the only point at which a problem can still be reworked. We would rather you inspect there than discover something at destination where it becomes a commercial dispute.
