Which Installation?
Freestanding, built into a deck, or set into an alcove with a finished edge?
Factory-backed supply · Foshan, China
Five buyer-facing directions: freestanding, built-in, compact soaking, colored and translucent, and custom cast tubs. Bathware in this range is cast at our own base in Foshan, so shape, wall section, color and finish are controlled against one production record rather than bought in and rebranded.
Solid surface bathtub types
Choose by how the tub meets the room, how much space it occupies and how the material is finished. Freestanding and built-in are different products, not the same tub installed differently.

Sculpted tubs finished on all sides, where floor space and filler position are planned around the tub.
02Tubs set into a deck, alcove or surround, where the finished edge and access panel are part of the build.
03Deeper, shorter tubs for small bathrooms, guest rooms and apartments where length is limited.
04Pigmented and light-transmitting castings where color reference and finish are agreed before production.
05Drawing-based shapes, lengths and wall sections for projects that no standard model fits.

Specification control
Confirm these details before treating two bathtub quotations as comparable. Two tubs of the same external length can be very different products.
| Dimensions | External length, width and height, internal bathing well and water depth |
|---|---|
| Material & section | Solid surface composition, wall thickness and any reinforcement |
| Finish | Surface finish, color reference, translucency where applicable and repairability |
| Drain & overflow | Position, size, waste type, overflow arrangement and supplied components |
| Weight & handling | Filled and unfilled weight, floor loading review and site access |
Quotation readiness

Freestanding, built into a deck, or set into an alcove with a finished edge?
External size, internal bathing well and the water depth actually usable.
Surface finish, color reference and whether translucency is required.
Drain position and size, overflow arrangement and which parts are supplied.
Filled weight against the floor structure, especially above ground level.
Crating, edge protection, labeling and destination-market requirements.
B2B coordination
WNS Global organizes bathtub information so a quotation can be written against one model and one finish rather than a general product family.

For multi-unit projects, provide room types, tub dimensions, color schedules, waste positions, quantities and phased delivery requirements. Commercial and delivery conditions remain subject to confirmation.

Custom development
Custom tubs depend on the shape, mould feasibility, wall section, color, quantity and production schedule. A new shape is a tooling decision, not a size change, and is reviewed before it is quoted.
Length, width, height, bathing well profile and wall section.
Pigment reference, translucency, surface finish and approval sample.
Marks, documentation, crating and destination labeling.
A reference image is not a complete specification. Drawings, wall sections, color samples, waste details and approval pieces should be confirmed before production.
Product-level review
Bathtub quality should be checked against the approved drawing and the agreed color reference. Documentation varies by material, configuration and destination market.
Plumbing listings and destination-market documents must be verified against the exact model and target country before any compliance claim is made. We do not hold third-party plumbing listings such as cUPC for our bathtubs.

Project fit

Suite and guest-room tubs with repeatable dimensions and service planning.
Repeatable models and waste positions across multiple units.
Identifiable models, stated dimensions and packing information.
Selected shapes, colors and finishes coordinated with the room.
Compact and replacement tubs chosen around existing services and access.

Product definition
A solid surface bathtub is cast from a mineral-filled composite rather than formed from sheet acrylic or enameled metal. The same material is sold under several trade names: stone resin in the United States and United Kingdom, stone bath in Australia, and artificial stone in older catalogs. The material is solid through its section, which is why the surface can be repaired rather than replaced.
The term does not describe one recipe or one performance level. Confirm the composition, wall thickness, finish, color reference and supplied waste components for the specific model rather than assuming they follow from the material name.

Side-by-side review
Compare installation, footprint, material treatment and supply format without assuming unsupported performance differences.
| Topic | Option A | Option B |
|---|---|---|
| Installation | Freestanding: finished all round, filler planned separately | Built-in: deck or alcove, edge and access panel are site work |
| Footprint | Full-length tub: bathing length across the floor | Compact soaking: shorter footprint, greater water depth |
| Material treatment | Solid color: consistent through the section | Translucent: pigment and light transmission agreed by sample |
| Supply | Standard model: stated dimensions and components | Custom casting: approved drawing and mould feasibility |

Buyer verification
WNS Global is the public brand of Foshan WNS Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. Solid surface bathware in this range is cast at our own base in Foshan, so a buyer deals with the bathtub manufacturer directly rather than through an intermediary.
Testimonials, badges, certifications and project statistics must be supported by WNS records.

Buyer questions
Answers below describe sourcing scope. Product-specific details remain subject to confirmation.
They are regional trade names for the same family of mineral-filled composite castings. Composition and wall section still differ between products, so confirm those at model level rather than relying on the name.
Custom lengths and shapes can be reviewed. A new shape requires tooling, so feasibility depends on the drawing, quantity and production schedule rather than on the size alone.
Yes for selected models. Color and translucency are agreed against an approval sample before casting, because a screen image is not a color reference.
It depends on the supply scope. Every quotation states whether the waste, overflow and filler are included or excluded.
Solid surface is solid through its section, so surface damage can usually be sanded and polished by a qualified repairer. The result depends on the finish and the extent of the damage.
No. We do not hold third-party plumbing listings such as cUPC for our bathtubs. Requirements vary by destination market and must be verified against the exact model before any compliance claim is made.
Product enquiry
Tell WNS Global which bathtub you are sourcing. Include the model or reference, external dimensions, installation type, color and finish, waste requirements, estimated quantity and destination market.
Learn before you buy
What to settle before the shape, and what the shape then decides.
The material, the trade names, and what each one actually tells you.
External size, bathing well and water depth are three different numbers.
Two materials, two repair stories, two cost structures.
Which documents each destination expects, and which ones do not exist.
Where damage actually happens between the mould and the room.
