Solid Surface Basins for B2B Sourcing

Five buyer-facing directions: integrated basins and vanity tops, countertop and vessel basins, pedestal and freestanding basins, custom-length integrated tops, and colored translucent basins. Basins in this range are cast at our own base in Foshan, alongside the vanities they sit on, so the top and the cabinet can be dimensioned against one drawing.

Key Product Specifications

Confirm these details before treating two basin quotations as comparable. A top and a bowl are two specifications even when they arrive as one casting.

B2B coordination

B2B Project Support

WNS Global organizes basin information so a quotation can be written against one top, one bowl layout and one finish.

Custom development

OEM / ODM Customization

Custom basins depend on the top length, bowl form, wall section, color, quantity and production feasibility. A custom length is a casting decision; a new bowl form is a tooling decision, and the two are quoted differently.

Top and Bowl

Length, depth, thickness, bowl form, position and edge profile.

Color and Finish

Pigment reference, translucency, surface finish and approval sample.

Coordinated Components

Matching cabinet, upstand, splashback, packing and labeling.

A reference image is not a complete specification. Drawings, wall dimensions, tap and waste positions, color samples and approval pieces should be confirmed before production.

Product-level review

Quality Control and Compliance

Basin quality should be checked against the approved drawing and the agreed color reference. Documentation varies by material, configuration and destination market.

  1. Check top length, depth and bowl position against the drawing
  2. Review surface finish, color consistency and visible condition
  3. Confirm tap hole count, spacing and waste opening
  4. Check edge profile, upstand and scribe allowance
  5. Inspect crating, edge protection and marking before dispatch

Plumbing listings and destination-market documents must be verified against the exact product and target country before any compliance claim is made.

Integrated basin and vanity top formed as one piece

Product definition

What Is a Solid Surface Basin?

A solid surface basin is cast from a mineral-filled composite rather than fired from ceramic. Because the material is solid through its section, a bowl and a vanity top can be formed as a single piece with no rim joint, and surface damage can usually be repaired rather than replaced.

The term does not describe one recipe or one performance level, and it does not mean the top, bowl, tap and waste arrive together. Confirm the composition, thickness, finish, color reference and supplied components for the specific product.

Buyer questions

Solid Surface Basin FAQ

Answers below describe sourcing scope. Product-specific details remain subject to confirmation.

The bowl and the vanity top are cast as one piece, so there is no rim joint between them. It does not mean the cabinet, tap or waste are included in the same supply scope.

Yes for selected products. A custom length is reviewed against the measured opening, the wall condition and the scribe allowance, and the drawing must be approved before casting.

Hole count, spacing and diameter are confirmed per order. State the tap model or the required spacing, and whether the tap is deck, wall or floor mounted.

Yes for selected models. Color and translucency are agreed against an approval sample before casting, because a screen image is not a color reference.

Solid surface is solid through its section, so scratches and stains can usually be sanded and polished by a qualified repairer. The result depends on the finish and the extent of the damage.

Send the top length and depth, bowl relationship and position, tap and waste arrangement, color or finish reference, estimated quantity and destination market.
