Multi-category scope worksheet
Build a Bathroom Package Supply-Responsibility Matrix
A room package can have gaps even when every product has a quote. For one room type, mark each item as a request for WNS to coordinate, supplied by another company, or not included, and list the connections between items that nobody owns yet. The result is your request, not an offer of stock, manufacture or installation.
- Name one room package and how many rooms use it.
- Set each item to a supply route, or leave it Unconfirmed.
- List unowned interfaces, then generate and copy the matrix.
Original workflow illustration, not to scale. It does not represent a supplied product or an approved design.
Your input
Leave unknown information unconfirmed. These worksheet fields do not submit an inquiry.

Worked example
A project buyer records which company supplies each item in a 40-room guest bathroom package, leaves one item open, and notes interfaces with no responsible party yet.
Example figures are invented for illustration. They are not product data, prices or a quotation.

Result from the worksheet
Bathroom package supply matrix (requested responsibilities only; nothing confirmed) Room package or project reference: Room type K1, guest bathroom Number of rooms with this package: 40 Vanity cabinet: Supplied by another company Basin and top: Supplied by another company Basin faucet: Supplied by another company Shower enclosure: Supplied by another company Shower controls and outlets: NOT CONFIRMED Toilet: Not in this package Floor drain: Not in this package Bathroom niche: Not in this package Interfaces nobody owns yet: Faucet-hole cutouts in basin top, vanity wall fixings Schedule revision or decision date: Room schedule rev B Information still to confirm: - Shower controls and outlets This is a buyer-prepared inquiry, not a quotation, availability confirmation, compatibility approval or production release.
How to read it
The matrix repeats the 40-room package and each route as selected: four items supplied by another company, three not in this package, and Shower controls and outlets left Unconfirmed. The tool shows that item as NOT CONFIRMED and lists it as the 1 required field still to confirm. The listed interfaces, such as the faucet-hole cutouts, still need a responsible party before ordering.
One room type per matrix
A package quantity only makes sense if every room has the same contents. Make another matrix for a different room type rather than hiding differences in a total.
A coordination request is not confirmed supply
WNS has to accept each requested line and state what is excluded. Nothing in this worksheet means an item is made in-house or available on the same terms as another.
Assign the interfaces, not just the products
A basin supplier and a faucet supplier can each deliver their item while nobody owns the faucet-hole coordination. List that gap and assign it before ordering.
Using this multi-category scope worksheet
Does choosing WNS coordination mean WNS makes that item?
No. It is a sourcing request. Where the item is made and what WNS accepts to supply are confirmed separately.
Can I exclude an item the architect has already chosen?
Yes. Mark it as supplied by another company or not in this package, and keep any interface it depends on.
Does the matrix calculate a project price?
No. It compares scope only, with no prices, freight or commercial terms.
Why does the matrix ask about interfaces?
Items can be quoted separately while nobody owns the cutouts, fixings, waste connections or installation between them.
Can a completed matrix replace the accepted quotation?
No. The accepted itemized offer, approved drawings and order documents define the actual scope.
Ready to discuss the scope?
Review the brief, then choose whether to include it in your inquiry. WNS must separately confirm the offered products, specifications and commercial scope. No order is placed here.
