Physical carton identity
Packing Label ID Crosscheck
Paste one physical carton ID per line in each list. These IDs identify individual cartons, not product model numbers. The two lists are compared in this page and never uploaded.
Enter the list reference → paste expected and observed carton IDs → review matching, missing, extra or repeated identities. No packing inspection is approved.

Required inputs must be complete. Use non-confidential references only.

Worked example
A buyer compares six carton IDs on the packing list with the six labels read at the receiving dock for one vanity shipment.
Example figures are invented for illustration. They are not product data, prices or a quotation.

Result from the worksheet
Packing Label ID Crosscheck LOCAL WORKSHEET — entered data only Record: Receiving log R1 Expected but not observed (1): K1-C006 Observed but not expected (1): K1-C007 Matching unique IDs (5): K1-C001, K1-C002, K1-C003, K1-C004, K1-C005 No product, inspection, installation, stock or delivery approval is generated.
How to read it
Both lists hold 6 IDs, yet the tool compares identities, not counts: 5 IDs match, K1-C006 was expected but not observed, and K1-C007 was observed but not expected. The buyer should check the physical packing record for a missing or mislabeled carton before treating the check as complete. Matching labels would not show what is inside a carton.
Compare identities, not just totals
The result lists IDs expected but not observed, IDs observed but not expected, and IDs found in both. Two lists with the same count can still name different cartons. Duplicates in either list are reported separately and must be resolved before the check counts as complete.
Matching is exact
Spaces at the start and end of a line are removed and blank lines are ignored. Case, punctuation and inner spaces still count, so BX-01 and bx-01 are different IDs. There is no barcode reading, fuzzy matching or automatic correction. Each list accepts up to 500 IDs of up to 120 characters.
A matching label doesn’t prove the contents
A label check can’t confirm what is inside a carton, its condition, the quantity or acceptance of the delivery. Keep the observation reference and use non-confidential IDs. Check any duplicate or unreadable label against the physical packing record before correcting the input.
Physical carton identity questions
Can I paste a repeated product code instead of carton IDs?
No. Use IDs that distinguish each physical carton.
Are upper- and lowercase IDs treated as the same?
No. Case is kept and compared exactly.
Are blank lines counted as cartons?
No. Blank lines are ignored.
Does a matching ID prove the goods inside are correct?
No. Contents and condition need separate checks.
What happens to duplicate IDs?
They are listed as review items, not counted as extra cartons.
Discuss the reviewed requirement
Use the result to identify questions for WNS Global. Offered products, specifications and commercial conditions still require separate confirmation.
